How to Order
Ordering Online
Ordering online is easy and secure! Just follow these simple steps: Search, Shop, Checkout!
Search
Perform a search by typing words and/or numbers (such as composer name, title, or item number) into the search box, found at the top of every page. For help with searching our site, see our search tips. You can also browse categories on our site by following the links in the “Browse” box in the left-hand column.
Shop
Browse through your search results and add items to your shopping cart (you can always remove them later). Click on “More Info” to view details for each item (such as contents of a collection). You can add an item to your shopping cart from the “More Info” page as well. To view the contents of your shopping cart at any time, click the shopping cart image at the top of the page.
Click “Continue Shopping” from the shopping cart to go back to our main page and search or browse for more music. Items you place in your shopping cart will remain there while you shop, unless you choose to remove them.
Please note that your browser must accept temporary cookies in order for the shopping cart to remember your items. These are not permanent cookies, just place-holders that disappear after you complete your order.
Checkout
When you have finished shopping and are ready to complete your order, click “Go to Checkout” from your shopping cart. There are three steps to checking out: fill out your address information, verify your order and choose your shipping method, and select your method of payment.
Billing Information: Fill out the onscreen form. If you have an account with us, your address info will load automatically if you chose the “Enable Auto-Login” option when you established your account. If it doesn’t, just log in to bring up your info. If this is your first time, just follow the easy link to establish your account with us. When you are ready, click on “Next” in the menu bar above your address information.
Shipping Information: If you are shipping your items to an address that is different from your billing address in the first step, enter that information here. If you are shipping to your billing address, just make sure the box that says “Same as Billing” is checked. Click “Next.”
Order Verification: The next screen displays the details of your order, with a default shipping method of UPS Ground. If you want to ship a different way, make your choice from the Shipping box and your order total will be revised accordingly. For more details about shipping, see our Shipping and Returns page.
Payment Selection: Our new, improved web site now charges your credit card at the time you complete your order. Please note that you will be charged only for the in-stock items and shipping and handling for those items. Items not in stock will be backordered and will be charged when shipped. In general, there will be no additional shipping charges for backordered items. Please see Items not in stock (“backorders”) for further information.
As an alternative to paying by credit card online, choose the “Mail, Fax Payment” option. This produces a copy of your order for you to print out and send to us with payment by fax or through the mail, or to use as a reference when placing your order by phone. We can accept personal checks and money orders only through the mail.
If you choose the “Mail, Fax” option and print out your order, please note that your order is not actually submitted to us at that time. We will have no record of the order until you send it to us with your payment, by fax or by mail, and we will have no knowledge of the order if you use the print-out to call in your payment.
Order Confirmation
You will receive an e-mail message confirming the contents of your order, the billing and shipping addresses, and the order total. If you choose a UPS shipping method, you will receive a separate e-mail confirmation when your order is shipped, giving you the UPS tracking number for the package along with the expected delivery date.

Call us toll-free to place a credit card order with our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff. We are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Please note that you will not receive the 5% online discount reflected in the prices on our web site if you place an order by phone.

Ordering by Mail
You can pay by credit card, check, or money order with this method. Use our web site to prepare and print out your order (using the “Mail, Fax” option at checkout). Send your mail order to us at the following address:

Ordering by Fax
Use our web site to prepare and print out your order (using the “Mail, Fax” option at checkout). You are also welcome to simply type or write your fax order on a plain piece of paper to submit by fax. So long as we have your name, address, list of items (with item numbers and full composers, titles and voicings), and complete credit card information, you do not need to use a form. Typed or computer-printed faxes are usually easier to read than handwritten ones. Fax your order to us at (812) 355-3004.
