In-Store Pick-up
In-Store Pick-up is FREE! Please allow 24 hrs. for your order to be processed. Orders placed after noon on Friday will be ready for pick-up Monday afternoon. T.I.S. Music Catalog is located at T.I.S. Music Shop, 1424 East 3rd Street, Bloomington, IN 47401.
Budget Shipping
Only $3.99 shipping on any order in the continental U.S.! Orders totalling $40 or more ship for FREE! Simply choose the 'Budget (Media Mail)' option during checkout. Media Mail takes a little longer, but it's a great choice if you are not in a hurry for your music. Shipments generally arrive in 4-7 business days, but it can take up to 21 days. We recommend choosing UPS Ground or USPS (Priority Mail) if you need your music more quickly.

We base our continental U.S. shipping rates on your order total after discounts, according to the shipping method you choose. See the table below for a breakdown of shipping rates. For large, heavy orders we reserve the right to pass along costs for express delivery.

When will I receive my order?
The time it takes for you to receive your order depends upon the shipping method you choose, the destination of the package, and the availability of the items you ordered. All in-stock items normally ship the next business day after the order is placed. Online orders requesting UPS Express shipping methods must be received in our offices before 12 Noon EST for same day shipping. Overnight orders placed after Thursday noon will ship on Friday for a Monday delivery. Please call us at (800) 421-8132 if you have any questions.
If any items you order are not in stock, we will ship all in-stock items immediately. Remaining items (“backorders”) will be shipped separately with no added shipping charge as soon as we receive them from the publishers — usually within 10-15 business days. Here is the formula for determining delivery time:
Item Availability + Shipping Time = Total Delivery Time
To calculate when you will receive your order, check the availability of the items you ordered and refer to the shipping method choices below. Item availability is noted with the item record online (e.g., “Usually ships next business day”), and also appears beneath the item in your Shopping Cart.
All UPS packages are trackable at the UPS tracking page. Please note that UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday and do not count in calculating delivery times.
UPS 3-Day Select
UPS 3-Day Select packages are guaranteed for delivery by the third business day after the order is shipped. Keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday, and those days do not count toward delivery.

UPS 2nd-Day Air
UPS 2nd-Day Air packages are guaranteed for delivery on the second business day after the order is shipped. Keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday, and those days do not count toward delivery.

Please note that UPS requires a signature for Air delivery packages. If you choose Air delivery (2nd-Day or Next-Day), please be sure to provide us with a shipping address where someone will be available to sign for the package.
2nd-Day packages are not guaranteed for a particular time of day, and delivery cannot be scheduled. As a general rule of thumb, however, deliveries to residential areas are usually made in the afternoon or early evening, while deliveries to businesses or schools are usually made in the morning. Some people prefer to have UPS packages delivered to a work or school address, where it is often easier to receive packages.
UPS Next-Day Air
UPS Next-Day Air packages are guaranteed for delivery on the next business day after the order is shipped; delivery is guaranteed before noon on that day. Keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday, and those days do not count toward delivery.

Items not in stock (“backorders”)
If part of your order is not in stock (“backordered”), we will send out what we have in stock right away. Your backordered items will follow automatically as soon as we receive them from the publishers, with (in most cases) no additional shipping charge. We do reserve the right to charge additional shipping in the case of unusually large shipments, or for those items requiring special handling. Please allow 10-15 business days (2-3 weeks) for your backordered items to arrive. If you choose a UPS shipping method you will receive an automated e-mail message from our shipping system when your backordered items leave here, giving you the UPS tracking number for the package and the expected date of delivery.
Item availability listings on the web site are generally reliable, and are updated daily. However, we may find when your online order is being processed that, either stock has run out since the last web site update, or that there has been an error in our computer’s inventory count. Since we take orders all day by phone, fax and mail, as well as from the web site, item availability is subject to change.
Changes in Availability
Occasionally we are notified by suppliers that certain items will be delayed, are temporarily unavailable, or have been discontinued. If we must cancel an item from your order or if there will be an unusual delay, we will notify you right away. Notification will appear on the invoice enclosed with your order (for a first shipment), or will be sent to you through the mail (if the item becomes unavailable or is delayed after the order was originally placed). We may contact you via e-mail as well. If the only item on your order cannot be supplied in a timely fashion, we will notify you immediately by e-mail or through the mail.
Your credit card will be charged for in-stock items when you complete your order online. Backordered items will not be charged until they are shipped. If an item in your order is no longer available, that item is automatically cancelled, with the remaining items shipped on schedule. Credit cards will be charged only for shipped items. If you paid by check or money order, your check refund will be processed after the first of the month following the item cancellation.
